I've been reading this lately and it's one of the best books I've come across. This book again makes you realize that the quality of American leadership (both political and corporate) in the 19th and 20th century was simply unmatched globally.

Bob Kagans book, The Ghost at the Feast, is a must read for understanding our current moment in global affairs.

These are quite different books but I enjoyed them all a lot

Seriously consider reading this if you’re at all interested in understanding how the world works..
