Braverman led expertly by Tim Loughton to the realisation that if she continues talking she will be forced to admit that the only way for a refugee to get here is in a dinghy. So she stops talking...

Anybody would surely have to accept #brexit so far has been a predictable financial and immigration disaster? They may still say that it wasn’t the point though. Not as simple as applying to rejoin - wouldn’t reverse the step damage/cost or be on the same advantageous terms

Moving, thought provoking, uplifting and beautiful work at the #GraysonsArtClub exhibition at MAC in Birmingham. Massively recommend a visit!

Page 2 and 3 of The Times and Sunday Times speculation by another hopeless ‘royal correspondent’ (not a journalist) Roya Nikkhah . Waste of lazy ink. About time the supposed ‘Royal sources’ are named. About time we got back to reporting news rather than juvenile dog-whistling. Sort it out

Please stop saying things are unaffordable. Affordability is a choice for most people including Governments. Unfortunately it’s only the most vulnerable who bear the brunt of other people’s choices

In the strange world of #bbc news Ken Bruce leaving radio 2 deserves a mention but #NadimZahawi (former Chancellor and Chairman of the Conservative Party) paying his taxes is not. Odd editorial decisions

It’s time to stop laughing at #boris and #LizTruss . We need to look long and hard at the unelected forces which are running our Government. I’m way past thinking #rishi has 100% control of the wheel

We need growth as a country. Can anyone explain why our self-proclaimed genius, hardworking, risk-taking, self-made, patriotic entrepreneurs need tax breaks to get them to invest and even stay in the country according to the #ConservativeParty?

If the asylum applications were processed promptly and safe routes established there’d be no huge hotel bills, Rwanda, ECHR discussion, small boats problem, lawbreaking by our own Government etc. And the labour shortages would be improved. I wonder why this isn’t being done?

#DominicRaab remains deluded that he was just challenging his Department. Bullying happens when people with no experience of working with and leading people decide to only use a stick. They suffered for his ego, unrealistic deadlines, and failure to deliver

Is anyone going to challenge the #Conservative claim that their 5 pledges are the ‘people’s pledges’? They made them up to feed to their dwindling supporters - what about the rest of us?
