Today Sarah Bowie officially opened our new library. Thank you so much to Gayton PTA and our parental community for supporting us in purchasing more fiction and non-fiction books and to our staff for helping us to improve our library area. We now have a stunning library area!

Morning from Barnstondale! 😀We have all had a wonderful nights sleep and we are very proud of how well Gayton Primary settled last night. This morning we have been tidying our dormitories, packing and Y4 have been singing some of the songs from the campfire last night!

Our Y5 & Y6 children had a wonderful visit to Princes Road Synagogue. This really helped them to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Judaism. They explored different parts of the synagogue and were able to view lots of religious artefacts as well.

A wonderful end to the first week back with our headteacher award winners, values awards and special notes home all celebrated in our celebration assembly this afternoon. Well done everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
