IT’s MONDAY,please be patient with us.We are sure you have seen the news regarding the amount of RSV &other illnesses.There are multiple viruses hitting at once & the medical community in WNY is trying to keep up. Wait times in ER & urgent cares are hours, Hospital beds are full

We understand wait time on the phone is high. We are trying to balance that & seeing the patients in the office. We are literally running all day for the past few weeks.

Signs of respiratory distress, especially in the infants & toddlers. Nasal flaring, Retracting, Increased respiratory rate(breathing fast). If you see this make sure it is not a fever causing it, take their temp & if it is high give them Tylenol or ibuprofen depending on the age

If their breathing is still labored when they temp comes down please call us. The coughs and runny noses are lasting 3 weeks. If there is a high fever later im the course that can indicate a secondary infection. Use nasal saline. Blow or suction noses. Drink lots of fluids.
