Someone must have shared a draft version of my 2024 State of the County Address because many of the items noted in this The Buffalo News editorial will be discussed by me next Wednesday, April 24 during my address. buffalonews.com/opinion/editor…
It won't be long before we open up a gorgeous new, nautical themed inclusive playground at Erie County Parks' Tow Path Park along the Niagara River in Buffalo. This will be the first inclusive playground in Buffalo!
It's another wonderful addition to #YourErieCountyParks !
Congratulations to ACCESS of WNY on a very successful first Arab-American Heritage Month celebration in Lackawanna today. As a LHS graduate, with many fellow Yemeni-American classmates, I know the long, proud history of Arab-Americans in our community. Congrats on a great event.
Great job by our Erie County Parks staff and their partners renovating the Park Office and the WPA era Harrigan Shelter at Emery Park.
Check them out next time you are at the park!
Great day at the Town of Cheektowaga Senior Center where we honored Kathy Maciejewski as the Erie County Seniors Senior of the Month.
It's also great to see so many seniors enjoying our lunch and Wii recreation programs. The lunch was tasty: pork chop, lazy pierogi, carrots and more.
The cherry tree blossoms are nearing full bloom at The The Buffalo History Museum Museum. The Museum's annual Cherry Blossom Festival doesn't start until April 27, but if you want to see the blossoms you better get to the History Museum sometime in the next week.
