it makes me really sad and angry that the two party campaigning system has made it all but impossible to talk about what i think is one of the most consequential Supreme Court decisions in years, grants pass — one that makes it all but illegal to be unhoused, codified into law

it’s something that Wetheunhoused, host and creator of ‘we the unhoused,’ has been talking about for months. please listen to the show and get involved in mutual aid in your community — regardless of who’s president, this ghoulish law is on the books. open.spotify.com/episode/1S0RGa…

Some historical trivia: the 60% requirement for referendums in Florida was itself passed by a referendum that received less than 60% of the vote.

Prepare to see a lot of confusing headlines like this about Florida. 57% of the vote is hardly a rejection even if the “yes” voters failed to surpass the 60% threshold

Incredible news. Zooey Zephyr, my fiancée, was re-elected to the Montana House of Representatives, getting 83% of the vote. Many of you will remember her for standing up for trans people in Montana, and then getting censured and kicked off the House floor. I'm so proud of her.

Kayla Reed is an organizing powerhouse. Missouri went red for president and governor, and the on the ground organizing still was able to codify abortion, win paid sick leave, and get a $15 minimum wage. I know there is lot of despair but this is amazing

so important to emphasize that florida voters did not reject their abortion amendment. the state threshold in florida is a supermajority, but a significant majority of floridians support protecting abortion rights ⬇️

Tomorrow the house votes on whether the government can, without due process, label a non-profit "terrorist supporting" and remove its tax exempt status. This would be used to destroy so many leftist organizations, I can't even begin to contemplate the extent of it.
