Deebo Samuel feels like the exact type of WR which would compliment Nabers and help the run game out from a blocking prospected. Only question is how much is he looking for?

“Salvage the career” for me means Evan Neal enters the season as a serviceable IOL backup who plays 15-20% of snaps. So I’ll say yes.

This is a solid deal. Would rather have made it a multi year deal at a lower average, but the WR room seems to be rounding into form

Very odd timing on this one. Feels like this is purely wanting a new deal. He has leverage with the interior of the line looking questionable at the moment

It takes two to get a deal done. While we are all saying “Pay Dexter Lawrence”, do we know what the Giants have offered yet? If they offered 2 years of guaranteed $$ at anything over $27m annually, couldn’t it be more on Lawrence to sign the deal?

While everything is being piled on Joe Schoen, he signed Dexter to a great below market deal initially. He wasn’t going to extend after last year. This ultimately gave Dawn and John the ability to decide if Dex was part of their future. They took the top 10 picks

The whole point is not that the #10 pick is equal to an elite guy like Dexter Lawrence. Can you get an impact player under team control for 5 years that aligns to this new timeline while saving $20m+?

He doesn’t. That doesn’t even make sense. The agent works for the player. If Dex wanted to talk to Harbaugh, he would have. It’s easy to vilify agents, but Dex’s did his job here. Remember all the “no leverage” talk? Well, with no leverage the agent got his player off a team he
