Every major has one shot that defines the winner. It's not always obvious. Let's take a closer look at the most important and underrated shot Xander Schauffele hit in the 2024 Open Championship 🧵

Tuesday traffic into town back to back. Great to be on the bike 🚲 flying in. For non-cylists - Dublin 2 is under 30 minutes from DL, the cardio is free and the smug feeling lasts all morning.

Packed bike sheds in Monkstown ETNS this morning. Every term number cycling/scooting to school is visibly increasing. Work on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council DLR Central project starts next month & will make connection from Dun Laoghaire/Cualanor/Honeypark to Monkstown ETNS & IADT Dún Laoghaire much safer👏

I’m on the DART as I did not fancy the cycle. By the time I am home the journey time will be double my bike ride. We really can’t handle weather……we really should be able to.

So now have a bookshop/coffee shop, wine shop, Mexican street food, Éclair bakery in a row. DL is in serious danger of being cool.

“Let me get this straight, you can buy a burrito on an interest-free instalment plan?” “That’s right, and we’re not even based in the Chipotle store.” “So, you finance this by packaging the burrito instalment loans into Burrito CDO A, which has part of Burrito CDO B and both

The Carnegie Library is now being used by IADT Dún Laoghaire and looks beautiful inside They are programming a lecture series starting in Sept that will be open to the public and will use it as a research hub. Its great to see more students in the town, the more links we have with IADT

Just back from a few hours in Dublin City. Grateful for the work of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in Dun Laoghaire. Dublin City Centre under Dublin City Council is arguably an absolute kip (and this was Grafton Street and environs).
