An Cathaoirleach, Councillor Denis O'Callaghan was proud to unveil a memorial bench at Killiney Beach to honour the memory of Louisa (Louie) Bennett, a Killiney local and a remarkable suffragette and lifelong campaigner for pacifism, gender equality, human rights and peace.

The following works are now complete on the all-weather pitch development at Oatlands College: subbase, fencing, ball catch netting, lighting and the changing room cabin has been lifted into place! Works to complete the pitch surface, dugouts and storage area are continuing.
