Today’s news of the Supreme Court overturning both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey stripped away human rights of girls, women and gender-expansive youth across the nation. The significance of this decision cannot be understated.

Reproductive justice is vital to our collective sense of safety and we all deserve to feel safe if nothing else. There was a lot of strategic work, decision-making, and strategy that made this historic moment a reality today.

The impact of this decision, is profound. Our country did not arrive at this moment by accident, this was acutely intentional and took a lot of dedication from powerful decision-makers.

Guess what? You are also a powerful decision-maker. Your voice matters. Your voice has value. Your voice is needed to shape the world that you want future generations to thrive in. These are the moments to speak up, even when your voice may tremble. You are not alone. We hear you

It is crucial to make safe spaces to process the multitude of feelings of this moment and reflect on how our voices will impact future decisions.

We encourage you to reach out to us and we will support your circle programs by recommending the best activity guide sessions that align with the needs, strengths and culture of the youth you are serving.

We also will be honoring several training scholarships to become a facilitator to start a circle in your community.

One Circle Foundation has 25 incredible years of spearheading safe, supportive and healthy spaces for youth and communities across the globe. Youth need you now more than ever to make spaces for their voices to be heard, valued and loved. Whatever their opinions may be.
