That corresponds to thermostats set by 3 degrees cooler in the winter. From 22 degrees to 19 degrees. This was what was used in average in the mid 1990s in Europeโ€ฆ So no, Europeans will not freeze to death, and it is an easy problem to solve. 5/6

Anyone explain why UK pensions where getting margin called yday? Clearly they were long rates, or short rate vol, via derivs, but how specifically? Relatedly, why were they using derivs like this in first place? Just to add leverage? I'm confused. Perhaps JohannesBorgen knows?

After reading lots of the recent books about crypto/FTX one q. One SBF defense is 'the $ was accidently sent to Alameda, it wasn't stolen'. Assume that's true. Once the $ was sent by customer then the customer would use FTX to buy some crypto. How did FTX find that purchase???
