Every single time the Conservatives come to power they increase the size of NHS waiting lists. Please don't let them blame it on Covid or anything else; they were doing exactly the same thing in the 90s. Please RT if you think everyone should be clear on this.

Maybe, instead of National Service for 18 year olds they should introduce national service for MPs. They all have to do several weeks volunteering in a school, GP, hospital, care home, social care and police within their first 12 months in office.

So true. As a palliative care doctor I now find myself routinely having to have end-of-life conversations with elderly patients on trolleys in corridors. It’s unimaginably undignified & wrong, And it didn’t used to be like this. 14 years of Tory policies have savaged the NHS.

People who follow the news are more likely to agree with statements such as ‘Most people care only about themselves.’ They more often believe that we as individuals are helpless to better the world. They are more likely to be stressed and depressed. /1

Just look at how the rate of increase in life expectancy has been dropping in this country. And it’s not just since COVID/2020. The decline seemed to start around 2010… weird, that.

What Sunak doesn't understand is that not everything in life is a financial transaction. Nobody likes paying tax, but it's the price of a, say, functioning NHS, education system and fixing potholes in the road. #BBCDebate

Wonder if it’s ever occurred to Rishi Sunak that a lot of people might just prefer a country that works rather than the tax cuts he keeps banging on about #BBCDebate

TransPennine Express⁩ your website says any delay repay for tickets bought from another provider has to go through them but I’ve received this email from ⁦⁦NORTHERN 🚆⁩. Can you help in terms of the next steps to get compensation for the cancelled train. Thanks
