Shambles. On the one policy on which they should U-turn — they don’t! Come on KS you’ve had plenty practice. Just do it.

I am nearly the last to leave the Greens’ press conference room in Gorton and Denton. Thanks to the brilliant team including Katherine Forster and Rebeca Newnes as well as our camera operators who worked overnight since 10pm to produce the GB News coverage. Keep watching!

A weak Prime Minister at home makes for a weak Prime Minister on the international stage. A man focused on process not outcome. More concerned with his back benchers than our most vital security partner. Laura Kuenssberg

Agreed. But nor should you deserve a vote because you’ve been a second/third-rate cabinet minister but greased up enough to a prime minister for him/her to send you to an unelected parliamentary chamber to do their bidding and live out your twilight years in comfort and status,

For anyone who’s not worked out what’s going yet. The Scottish Govt are using the anonymity order protecting the complainers in the Salmond case (not victims because he was acquitted) as an excuse to avoid their obligation to disclose damning information. heraldscotland.com/news/25937749.…

Andrew Neil Bryn In 2025 we spent £334 billion on welfare and spent only ~£60 billion on defence, with only about 15% of that going to the Royal Navy. So for every £1 we spent on the Royal Navy we spent ~£33 for someone sitting on their arse. Just a totally unserious and dysfunctional nation.

Every measure you list involves spending wealth. You don’t list one measure that creates wealth. And if you don’t create wealth you will soon run out of it to spend, which is already happening (hence all your extra taxes and borrowing).

How dare you? Just how dare you?? I want to cry with anger reading this post. Let alone those beautiful girls families. You skipped to Southport, lobbed a wreath in the direction of all the other tributes. Ran away and called everyone FAR RIGHT that were heartbroken, angry

Is this for them to carry the free iPads they were promised in the 2021 election? Except that promise was broken. Don’t insult the intelligence of the electorate it’s not a good look. heraldscotland.com/news/26018126.…

And let us not forget that at one stage Starmer was implicitly blaming the vetting process for letting Mandelson through — ‘both due diligence and security vetting need to be looked at again,’ he said. Turns out the vetting process did its job. And was overruled.
