Indonesian UN peacekeepers are still out in some of the worst affected areas of south Lebanon despite three of their colleagues being killed in two separate attacks over the past few days. ‘We’re just doing our job’, they told us as they moved a few kms from the Israeli border

“With little peace left to keep, is it time for the Irish Government to withdraw our Defence Forces?” - but goes on to mention withdrawal plan in Dec. Clickbait scaremongering. irishtimes.com/opinion/2026/0…

“The first Air Corps flight ever to carry troops into a conflict zone was piloted by the service’s only fully qualified and commissioned woman pilot.” Well done Capt Cusack! 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪 irishtimes.com/ireland/2026/0…

Why doesn't the media talk about the peacekeepers killed by Israel in Lebanon? Israel deliberately killed three UN Indonesian peacekeeper and wounded others in Lebanon. Israel cannot continue to be treated as a full member of the UN. Attacking UN peacekeepers is an abomination

Ireland needs to stop treating anti-drone capability as optional. Cheap drones can disrupt airports, surveil critical infrastructure and expose military weakness. Government should be prioritising counter-drone tech, radar and rapid-response capability. foreignaffairs.com/europes-untapp…

UN peacekeepers in Lebanon are finding their job increasingly obstructed. In the past two weeks, they’ve come under several attacks; three have been killed, others injured and threatened..in the latest incident, an Israeli soldier inside Lebanese territory detained a peacekeeper
