Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and close colleagues of Firefighter Rudie Mann who passed away yesterday morning after a night shift on Red Watch. Despite the valiant efforts of his friends, colleagues & EEAST Ambulance Service they were sadly unable to save him.
Today at midday, we observed 1 minutes silence to respect Firefighter Rudie Mann who sadly passed away last Saturday whilst on duty at Lowestoft South Fire Station Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service As a crew we were stationed across the county at Stowmarket, Debenham, Holbrook and Stradbroke.
Today at our Wattisham Training Centre and across Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service, a one minute silence has been held to mark the tragic passing of Rudie Mann before he went off duty on 13 February 2021. RIP Rudie from all your friends and colleagues in SFRS
