Stephen Jones: "Ha ha ha, they gave up a third for a 9-week rental!" Also Stephen Jones: "What do you mean they might get a 3rd or 4th-round comp pick for a 9-week rental?"

Ryan Flournoy got the third-most snaps among wide receivers yesterday, coming in ahead of Turpin and Tolbert. Is he the new WR3?

Caelon Carson played every single one of the 60 snaps on defense yesterday, and played well. This is particularly remarkable given that he got zero defensive snaps just two games ago against the Broncos and upped that to 28 snaps one game ago against the Cardinals. New CB2?

New players (Q. Williams, L. Wilson) and players returning from injury (D. Wilson, M. Hooker, D. Overshown, S. Revel), accounted for 32% of all defensive snaps. Add Carson's 60 snaps, and 40% of the total snaps come from players that did not have a single snap two games ago.

Amari Cooper (2018) vs George Pickens (2025). Both great additions for the Cowboys, with Pickens enjoying a slight statistical advantage. But one cost the Cowboys a 1st-round pick, the other a 3rd-round pick.
