Online or offline, if you want to push someone's learning, there has to be a relationship present. When people feel valued, they are more likely to grow than if they feel the opposite. It is okay to push, even beneficial, but growth happens best through a feeling of support.

Students don’t like negative teachers and neither should you. The opposite is equally true. In the end, there are three types of teachers: those you hated, those you cannot remember, and those who changed your life. All three are always available. Choose with care.
