This #StoneCurlew recovered from L-Aħrax had a gunshot injury to its left wing. In 2017 video evidence we collected had led police to identify a hunter who shot down a Stone Curlew at the same site. He was fined €5000, had his hunting license suspended & his shotgun confiscated.
