Today Van Horn students got to visit Union Station to see the Maya Exhibit! So many great artifacts and learning experiences in this exhibit. Kudos to Cain, Sawyer, and Carter for organizing this trip!

My heart is so full from a great PD day with some amazing Social Studies teachers! It was a wonderful morning together!!! 🥰

After a trial run this weekend, I can confidently report that my body, mind, and soul will wholeheartedly embrace the 4 day week/3 day weekend concept.

Today ISD Social Studies teachers kicked off the adventure into a year-long Gov course! These amazing teachers worked hard, dove into standards, and had great conversations that are going to benefit our community. Thankful for them today and every day! Jason Grubb Angela Weatherford

Chrisman and Van Horn APUSH students closed out the year with visits to The WHDC to explore a simulation on Truman’s decisions in relation to Korea. We are so thankful for the Truman Library’s partnership and these opportunities for our students!

Secondary ICs had a great two days working alongside MS & HS administrators at Admin Institute! It was such a joy to spend time together having collaborative and empowering conversations about supporting ISD teachers, students, and families.
