I can respect people arguing for and defending ideas, as long as those ideas do not dehumanize and marginalize. I get suspicious when people viciously, reactively, w/ narrow evidence, defend products using marketing language of those products. This is an epidemic in education.

Looking for somebody who can write a book about fat-phobia, sizism, weight discrimination, maybe laying out an intersectional 'fat pedagogy' for P-12 educators. So many people writing about this in higher ed. Who can write a book on this topic for P-12 people? Any suggestions?

Super-excited that Embracing the Exceptions: Meeting the Needs of Neurodivergent Students of Color will be in the Equity and Social Justice in Education series I curate for Routledge. It's powerful and beautifully narrative. If you don't follow Dr. JPB Gerald, check him out.
