Red card today for the organization of the Tour de Wallonie. Circuit much too dangerous for a sprint finish, road in bad condition, too many traps on the side of the road. Always reacted when there is a death or serious injury. making it safe for runners is not a priority?

Did some nice 5 days of racing starting with Hageland and 4 days in tour de Wallonie. Hoped for a closer gc but the seconds play is always difficult in races like this so had to settle for a 12th place. Now i really look forward to the nationals and the european championship.🔥

Unfortunately i was involved with the crash yesterday at Luxembourg don’t know how this still can happen time after time. Luckily it’s only small damage but was not able to finish the race..

Decided yesterday that it is better to stay close to home and not kick off the season at monsere because my wife’s due date is almost here! Exciting period and hopefully in a few weeks i can join my @RiwalCycling team mates💥

So that was a nice 4 days of racing, felt good and after a good ttt we were in a good position for a good GC here in kreizh Breizh. Was pretty bummed with the missed win yesterday but today i could finally win again after 8 years. 1/2
