Translink will likely stick "fáilte" up alongside 10 other languages, and continue with "English-only" signage throughout all other displays. An approach that is totally at odds with the European Charter for Regional and Minority Languages, excluding Irish from majority of signs.

Excluding Irish in public spaces and public services is a political choice. It's usually done so that when there is a cost to changing the signage later, people will oppose the extra money spent, when it would have cost nothing extra to have been added in beforehand.
