We're proud to have recently wrapped up a project w/ UNICEF Rwanda. Between Dec & Feb, we shared 3 radio shows outlining common signs and symptoms of mental illness, where to access services in RW & what a journey to healing can look like. Why does youth mental health matter to you?

Happy #InternationalWomensDay ! DYK Ni Nyampinga has supported girls & young women for 11+ years? Or that we've reached 4.5 million Rwandans through our behaviour-change messages, including over 680k girls aged 10-19? Here's to supporting another generation of young #women!

At Ni Nyampinga, we're committed to our projects not just being for girls, but led by girls. We do this through our team of young researchers and journalists, who are trained to conduct interviews in their own communities, and compile and share stories via our media platforms!

We were delighted to have sarah ida spronk from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands visit our office yesterday. We shared our approach to #SBCC, including how we work w/ girls to generate content on topics like vaccination & nutrition. Thanks for stopping by, Sarah!

A recent study showed that when one girl accesses our Ni Nyampinga content through numerous channels (including our magazine, radio show, Sakwe drama series, etc.) she's more likely to change her behaviour in a positive way. That's the compounding #girleffect.

Teen mums face barriers with accessing health services & information. That's why we're working closely with teen mums who are part of our #NiNyampinga clubs to deliver content and ensure they can access important information on vaccines, nutrition, education and more!
