While i'm still working on my #Blocktober level i want to share one of my first ever levels which i made for my last student project. I think i learned a lot since then and i hope it will show when it's done.

A short clip from a small project im working on. My goal is to create a parkour game where the player can choose between multiple paths. I want to improve my prototyping and level guiding skills with the project. #leveldesign

Some of you asked me about how you should approach level design when working in an Open World environments so I wrote an article about this on Medium . link.medium.com/hFJ3am5dW3 #leveldesign

I added online multiplayer using photon and other features like checkpoints to my Parkour Game. This week i had to create 3 levels for it as part of my exams, since there wasn't much time i skipped most of the pre-production. I'm still quite happy with the results. #leveldesign

Today the 3. semester project i have been working on with my team was released. It's a first-person stealth game. I was responsible for parts of the level design. s4g.itch.io/solidgate #gamedev #leveldesign #UnrealEngine

Back at it after a little break! Forgot how excited I am to work on this #leveldesign project! Implemented a timer-based scripted event, some basic combat, suuuuper basic AI that chases the player, and a chance to find a key that will save you time later #screenshotsaturday #UE4

#leveldesign tip of the day! 📯 STAIRS AND RAMPS Whenever we have the opportunity to make a stair, ramp, doorway or bridge, then all level designers and world builders should scream with happiness! :) They are excellent tools for guidance and flowcontrol!

Made a 122 page Level Design document where I gather useful senior dev knowledge. The goal was to gather up all this knowledge in one place. Both for learning and as reference. Hopefully people find it useful and any feedback is welcome 😄 Link: docs.google.com/document/d/1fA…

For this years #blocktober I wanted to at least create something small. So I decided on a fictional gig location for Cyberpunk 2077 since I recently played it. In this one V has to eliminate a gang that took over this bar.
