Hugely important paper. 1.19 million excess deaths in 2020 in India - before the horrific 2nd wave of 2021. Greater risks faced by women, Muslims, and SC/STs. Chilling to see inequalities of gender, religion & caste laid out in these tables on mortality rates and life expectancy.
