'If Ukraine is defeated, we will find ourselves in a far more dangerous world. It will be a world where we can expect war in Europe and war in Asia,' nuclear proliferation and a refugee crisis on a whole new scale. Read this appeal: edition.cnn.com/2024/04/10/opi…

NATO has two choices:
1) Give Ukraine what it needs to win.
2) Prepare to take in millions of additional Ukrainian refugees who will be forced to flee because their cities are flattened by glide bombs (Kharkiv), there’s no electricity/school & no heat in winter.

This is why Poland closed its airspace near the border with Ukraine this morning and scrambled fighter jets.
How about instead, we help Ukraine shoot these missiles down (and prevent Russia from firing them in the first place)?

Hard to argue with this: “Ukraine remains the only country in the world facing ballistic strikes. There is currently no other place for 'Patriots' to be.”

Re-upping this as Ukraine was just attacked with a massive barrage of missiles from Russia. Poland even closed its airspace around RZE & activated fighter jets. This is beyond ridiculous—does Europe want another massive refugee crisis like 2022?

The months-long delay in U.S. military assistance to Ukraine will become a case study in U.S. strategic self-destruct:

“The commander of US European Command told lawmakers that the Russians are currently firing 5 times as many artillery shells as the Ukrainians, and that number…

To date, Save Ukraine has already returned 284 children stolen by Russia, including 73 orphans. Incredibly important work.

Two years ago today, Russia fired cluster missiles on the Kramatorsk railway station, packed with evacuating families.

But a ray of hope: Yana—who was injured in the attack, and whom I met as she arrived to the US for rehabilitation—will run the Boston Marathon next week! 💛

Kharkiv. In peacetime home to over 1.4mn, about the size of Munich, Milan or San Antonio. A university & industrial city. A tech hub. Good beer.
Russia is destroying day by day, bomb by bomb. Our leaders are letting them. Call your lawmakers & demand more air defense aid

I can confirm that Kharkiv is very much teeming with activity. The cafes are full, restaurants buzzing. But attacks on electrical plants & nightly drones are taking a toll. Air defense is needed ASAP. My favorite cafe now has “Gen” next to menu items it can cook on the generator.
