Adding: K C Ang is a quintessential fab guy (and his focus should really be on getting TEPL fab up and running). If its his idea to "lets a acquire a not-in-the-top-10 OSAT or foundry" I doubt how much that will fly with Chandra. Or perhaps this news is "cover" for a bigger plan

Good to see lots of discussions below various posts on the acquisition debate. As for Tata-Tower, funding/business-model discussions apart, I felt a "combo" helps. With some small tweaks, Tata should be able to run Tech from Tower ALSO at Dholera fab when ready (helps in fabfill)
