BREAKING NEWS—Dr. Ivan Omaña has been elected as the Director for Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries at the General Conference. His nomination was taken to the floor at today's business session and the delegates voted in favor.

Today, Dr. Omaña had to return early to Maryland from the General Conference Session. His wife, Anabel, declined rapidly overnight. Please continue to lift Anabel, Ivan, their daughter Ivonne, and their extended family in prayer.

During a retirement recognition ceremony today, Dr. Mario Ceballos, ACM Director—General Conference, was recognized for his thirty-five years of service. We are grateful for his leadership in ACM.

It is with great sadness that the ACM family announces the death of a very special person. Anabel Omaña fell asleep in Jesus on Sunday, June 12 at 12:51 pm. Ivan and their daughter Ivonne were at her side. Memorial arrangements are pending.
