Please don't turn your lawn into plastic. Plastic grass reduces food & shelter for wildlife such as bees & butterflies; has a high carbon footprint; sheds micro-plastics which wash into our rivers and seas. Create a wildlife-friendly space instead. More bit.ly/3wE67P8 ๐Ÿ

Guernsey Living Theatre's Cathy Gill will be Aline, Renoir's wife, in 'For Art & For Love: Reflections on a life with Renoir', in the Priaulx Library most Saturdays until Christmas (see poster). We have parking, no need to book & the performances are free! #guernsey #renoir

I saw "A Little Life" at the Centre for Performing Arts last night. it was amazing, heart-rending, riveting. The actors, the script, the staging, the music: All breathtaking. James Norton's performance as the lead was outstanding.

I have just one piece of advice for anyone checking the proofs of their new book: if you really want to find the errors and typos, read the proofs aloud! shorturl.at/fimqN

Why do some people feel the need to write a whole book synopsis in their review? ๐Ÿ˜… Iโ€™ve always found it a bit strange. I think the review should be about expressing your opinion about the book, and not telling people what happens in the story. Just curious. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ #WritingCommunity

This story, ordinarily, would have dominated the news agenda and led to members standing down. But, as this assembly becomes increasingly more dysfunctional, then the exceptional, the unthinkable, is viewed as business as usual by the 2020 intake.
