I predicted a few weeks ago that Speaker Johnson's cutting aid to Ukraine would lead to nuclear proliferation among our allies. The more fingers on nuclear buttons, the greater the odds of nuclear war. Johnson is a treacherous fool making the world a more dangerous place.

Big Picture: yes, the Supreme Court has given Trump a huge win, but it's a win because Trump wants to do anything to avoid a pubic trial where the facts of his guilt would be presented for all to see. An innocent person running for office would want to clear his name.

This is very important, or should be: Trump's selection as new chair of RNC opposes 'the destruction of human embryos'

The brutal reality: John Roberts’ Supreme Court is an ally of Donald Trump. By taking its time to evaluate the immunity case, and then deciding to stretch out its decision-making under these extraordinary circumstances, they are giving Trump immunity should he win. Just awful.

“Richard and I were born three days apart in the same hospital and for most of my life he’s been like a brother to me. He had that rare combination of being the funniest person and also the sweetest. But today he made me sob and for that I’ll never forgive him.'

His “great-great grandfather”? This is so infinitely embarrassing for The Hill, Jonathan Turley, and George Washington University Law School, who should seriously consider rescinding his diploma.

In someways, the best evidence of the corruption of our mainstream media is that when Trump invited Russia to invade our NATO allies, it was not even a full one day story

For real, can we recap: Sitting members of Congress initiated IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS against a U.S. President based on information passed to them by an agent of Russian intelligence. Same members refuse to pass aid to Ukraine. Same members defend Trump.

Everybody is scrambling on what the West do in response to Putin’s assassination of Navalny. If we really want to hit Putin where it hurts, Western governments should confiscate the frozen $300 billion of Russian central bank reserves and we should call it the Navalny Act.

Speaking of paying our share… If the US gave as much/GDP to Ukraine as does Denmark or Slovakia, Ukraine would win easily. If we gave as much/GDP to Ukraine as Estonia does, Ukraine would likely have won long ago. Ukrainian victory is what matters and we are the slackers.

Remotely serious R’s in Congress have been retiring to the point of extinction. Meanwhile, Dems have been investing in a hugely talented bench of young pragmatists. When the Trump/Biden smoke clears, people are going to be surprised by how strong the next generation of Dems is.

Mitt Romney: “I think the border is a very important issue for Donald Trump. And the fact that he would communicate to Republican senators and congresspeople that he doesn't want us to solve the border problem because he wants to blame Biden for it is is really appalling.'

Please watch. Biden is rolling back the Reagan revolution, and many people can’t see the whole picture. This is a good primer:

Kim Reynolds and Chris Sununu. Once again, endorsements don’t matter. How many times do I have to write that? In IA and N.H., voters make up their own minds. (Though I’d rather have Sununu on my side than against me in N.H.)

Interesting and potentially important take on the N.H. results from Brit Hume on Fox: “If you think of him (Trump) as an incumbent, this showing tonight is weak. Right? He should be doing better.”

Nikki Haley won a greater percentage of votes against Trump tonight than Eugene McCarthy won against LBJ in 1968, yet the punditocracy has spoken in almost one voice describing Trump's 'resounding victory.'
