Today, prof. Ladislav Cabada delivered a lecture about the problems of the Czech political system and (dis)trust in politics for 180 high school students.

On 7 May 2024, two focus groups within the TRUEDEM project led by Ladislav Cabada and Petr Just took place. Thanks to all the participants for their valuable contribution to our project.

It has been recently a busy time for member of the Metropolitní univerzita Praha TRUEDEM team Petr Just analyzing the results of the 2024 EP elections and their impact on Czech politics for several media, incl. public service broadcasters Czech Television and Czech Radio.

Today, MUP TRUEDEM team member prof. Ladislav Cabada delivered a lecture on the problems and challenges for Czech and European politics for 80 high school students.

Today MUP TRUDEM team member Ladislav Cabada presented a paper on "(Mis)Trust and democracy: political polarization in Central Europe and its influence on democratic backsliding processes" at the ECPR General Conference in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the TRUEDEM project.

Today, the MUP Truedem team member Ladislav Cabada delivered a lecture on the development and building of democracy and strengthening trust in Czech and European political institutions for 30 visiting students from the University of Utrecht.

On Monday, 15 September 2025, prof. Cabada engaged in a discussion about electoral processes and trust in political actors with 100 students (and first-time voters) at Mikulášské Gymnasium in Plzeň.

On 8 October 2025, prof. Cabada delivered a lecture on electoral integrity, external interference and trust in political institutions to 25 Bosnian politicians, as part of the sixth Speak Up! Meeting project. The event was organised by the Institut für Donauraum und Mitteleuropa.

The final conference of the TrueDem project "Rebuilding Trust in Democratic Institutions: Dialogue, Participation, and Inclusion" took place on November 13, 2025 in Katowice. Members of the MUP TRUEDEM team also participated! #participation #trust #democracy #governance
