It's not a cost of living crisis so much as a rip-off crisis. People are being ripped off by energy companies, ripped off by landlords, ripped off by a government that channels benefits to the rich while watching the poor slide into destitution.

Rail workers, post office workers, nurses, teachers, bus drivers, fire fighters, dock workers. They all want what you want- job security, decent pay, to be able to pay their bills, to raise a family. Back them all please. Their fight is your fight.

Rishi Sunak is on the Rich List with his household’s £730 million fortune. A 3% tax on his wealth over £10m would recoup £22 million for the taxpayer. That would lift 22,000 families out of poverty. Sunak opposes Wealth Taxes.

We shouldn’t let this be buried by other news today. Foodbank charity Trussell Trust says that the need for foodbanks has outstripped donations for the first time. It has distributed 46% more emergency food parcels in August and September than at the same time in 2021.
