I've been through more than my fair share of stock market crisis. Global markets trillions down to sort a 1trln deficit is a doozy but stay investing folks - it is a long term game to retirement.

I'm in an above ground tram (free too) to the airport in Lux. We have the route in Dublin and if we were focussed it could be done in under 24 months. Why is Ireland incapable of delivering basic infrastructure? The Luas is 20 years old and still has a very limited in network.

The Carnegie Library is now being used by IADT Dún Laoghaire and looks beautiful inside They are programming a lecture series starting in Sept that will be open to the public and will use it as a research hub. Its great to see more students in the town, the more links we have with IADT

The more time I spend in Luxembourg the more I worry about the lack of Irish urgency on infrastructure. No metro in Lux but an above ground tram from the airport. Delivered in short order...oh and all public transport is free (and very clean).

Financial conversations are so different in the UK. We need an ISA type product and access to ETFs without deemed disposal. Having said that our pension structure is great.
