We’ve been following Spirit’s growth since she hatched in March. She happened to leave her nest for the first time on our last full day of school. Perfect timing! 🦅

Yesterday we visited the garden for the first time! Everyone was so focused as they practice their photography skills. We are lucky to be able to learn in this beautiful space!

Ss in Laura Rzewnicki’s class had so much fun reading Patrick McDonnell “A Perfectly Messed Up Story” and deciding which objects were “no, no never” allowed near books and which ones were “yes, yes always!” #28empowers #bookcare

We worked hard in the garden today pulling out and composting old sunflower and amaranth plants to make way for veggie planting. After their hard work our class enjoyed eating some carrots!

Kindergarteners staged a dramatization of Chicken Little today. Here you can see our actors on the stage and our boomwhacker band in the orchestra pit. 👏🏻 🎭 #blairfinchproject instagram.com/p/Cnpxlz1JWb3/…

Our mathematicians made a frog chart yesterday to practice counting frog eyes by 2s! They observed that the number of frogs doubled = the total number of eyes. And the total number of eyes doubled = the total number of frog legs! What a great conversation. 🐸 👀
