Grade 4s had lots of fun learning from each other today! Three different sets of students ran a breakout room to teach a subject of their choice... so amazing to see the presentations they created, the art activities they led and the knowledge and information that was shared!

As part of our inquiry into inequities between First Nations communities & other municipalities in ON, Gr3s researched current drinking water advisories & were shocked to see how many reserves had no clean water. They were inspired to write to Justin Trudeau to ask for change

Gr3s were excited to mail their letters to ask Justin Trudeau to keep his promise to Autumn Peltier to protect the water and end all drinking water advisories in First Nations communities #watercrisis #WorldWaterDay2022 #MakeADifference HDSB Indigenous Rights and Education HDSB Human Rights, Equity & Inclusive Education
