P3/2 are exploring mixed media art. We collected small twigs outside and we used them to make an autumn picture! Fernielea School
We have been learning about primary and secondary colours for the last two weeks. We started off by mixing primary colours together to see what they would make! This week we painted autumn leaves using primary and secondary colours! I am so impressed! Fernielea School
Some brilliant bonfire night pictures! We used oil pastels to make our fireworks and then we used black watercolour paint to make the night sky! We were amazed that the water and the oil didnβt mix! Fernielea School
How amazing are these Remembrance Day collages? We tore up pictures of front pages of newspapers from the day WW1 ended and made a collage and then we used black and red tissue paper to add some poppies! Fernielea School

P3/2 have been learning about measuring areas of 2D shapes using square units. Today, we were given areas for different body parts of a robot and we drew our own! We found that different shapes can have the same area. We then made our robots out of cubes! π€ Fernielea School
We have started our IDL topic on The Lighthouse Keeperβs lunch. We had a think about what we already knew about lighthouses and lighthouse keepers. π‘Fernielea School
We have been learning about The Lighthouse Keeperβs Lunch. First, we learned what a lighthouse was. Then we learned about all the important parts of a lighthouse. Finally we made models of lighthouses to show what we knew! Fernielea School
