Seeing great success using How to Plan Differentiated Reading Instruction (Walpole & McKenna)♥️ I can’t wait to do this week’s Acadience progressing monitoring😁 Mrs. Templeton Waterloo Region DSB IDA Ontario
To develop strong foundational language and literacy skills, students need consistent practice. These materials support educators to empower parents and caregivers to support language and literacy development. 👉onlit.org/resource/home-… Thanks to Jenni vanRees & Blue Heron Public School team!
“It is showing empathy - not cruelty - to assign students to the seat that maximizes their attention, not least because it relieves them from the immense social pressure of having to choose between friends and learning.” So many practical ideas for instruction from Zach Groshell!
Eyes on the print not off the print! My Anita Archer inner self is ready for school tomorrow with my sparkle reading pointer finger 💜 #EpilepsyAwareness ONlit.org IDA Ontario Waterloo Region DSB Mrs. Templeton
It looks to me like this eager learner needs a new goal! I love that problem 😁 Tier 2 instruction is undervalued. Acadience screening is so important. Students can’t wait for us to figure it out on our own💕 Waterloo Region DSB Mrs. Templeton IDA Ontario ONlit.org
Zach Groshell In my own teacher prep, it was always emphasized that teaching only occurred if learning also occurred. If they hadn't learned it, I had not actually taught it. I may have "covered" it or talked about it, but for it to have been teaching, there had to be learning.
