Data proves over and over again how crucial the Arts are! I am so grateful to teach in a school and district that recognizes this and supports our thriving arts programs!

It is with many mixed emotions that I announce that I have accepted a position as the Choir teacher at Fern Creek High School for next year! I am so sad to leave the Missile family, but am beyond excited to start this new adventure! To my students, I hope you always keep singing!

Some of my kids have jobs and will work till 10 tonight. Then they'll have homework to do. They'll go to bed after midnight and be up again 5 hours later. Then they'll be expected to sit for the next 8 hours and learn, fueled by nothing more than adrenaline and a 20 min "lunch".
