One huge part of our trip was honouring OH’s who lost their lives in warfare. The students paid their respects at many different sites and one big highlight of our trip was definitely our 3 students who laid a wreath at the Menin Gate.

Made up with my U13’s winning a close one on Saturday. We bowled and fielded excellently to defend 90. Everyone played their part in a real team effort 👏🏽 hitting form at the right time before a busy couple of weeks of cricket. Two games this week to keep the standards high!🏏

Great start for my U13’s on Saturday with a good win. Off the back of two sessions my A’s played some nice hockey at both ends of the pitch. A big three days coming up with the cup tomorrow!

Delighted for my squad to make it through to round 2 of the Girls ISHC 🏑 cup last week. Huge test coming next Thursday, looking forward to it already!

Two wins in three days meant last week ended on a high. My U13’s put aside a poor first half performance to show what they’re all about second half and secure a good win! A very positive first couple of weeks on the hockey pitch! 🏑

Excellent week for my squad with two big wins in three days last week. We showed lots of resilience on Saturday to defend well under lots of pressure second half and we managed to take our chances going forward. Three games this week to end the half term on a high 🏑🔴⚫️

Two good wins tonight to make the Yorkshire champs after Xmas ✅ really pleased to see how my squad is progressing this term. They’re a delight to coach and keen to improve all the time. One more tough game to go before half term! 🏑

This group continue to go from strength to strength. I am super proud of every single one of them. A superb win today to make the ISHC plate finals day in 4 weeks. We played really well against a strong King’s side and took our chances. A great start to the term! 🔴⚫️🏑

A good workout for my U14’s on Sat. A real test playing against a side the hear above but they showed lots of promise moving forward to the rest of season. Bring on the Yorkshire Cup on Thursday 🏑🔴⚫️

The U14 Boys hockey Tier 2 Yorkshire Competition tomorrow has been postponed due to the weather. It will now be school as normal in full uniform for our boys. An alternative date will be communicated when it is set.

Good day yesterday for my boys side. Got the job done and picked up 4 good wins to qualify for the semi finals. Gutted I wasn’t there but can’t wait for next Thursday for the next round 🔴⚫️🏑

Some day this was a couple of weeks ago. A real emotional rollercoaster. Super excited for National Finals tomorrow. Hopefully we leave with no regrets and it’s a positive day! 🤞🏼🔴⚫️
