Week 1 of PGCE completed! I am in a lovely group who possess a wide range of experience and knowledge. Still nervous about how the transition from FE to 11-16 will play out.

End of my first PGCE term and I’ve loved every minute. The school I was at was a great fit for me and I can really feel my progress. I was so worried about the transition from FE to secondary but that’s all in the past. Only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner! All the best!🎄

Interesting discussion with another trainee today regarding bursaries in some subjects. I’m shocked so many PE trainees are taken on at university when there are so few jobs. One local school received over 70 applicants for 1 job. This doesn’t seem fair to me.
