BASE: Marquette 8, Hammond Academy 6 Nate Bakota finished 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two doubles while earning the win on the mound. Liam Gowan shut the door with two shutout innings. Andrew Pleasant scored three runs. Marquette travels to Gary tomorrow to face West Side at 5 pm
