Still #Pinotnoir Blanc! Hand harvest, 4 months on fine lees. The rest is in the glass. A unique example of the versatility of this grape and of how virtuous it is. In 1850, Count Augusto Giorgi di Vistarino was the first person to plant Pinot Noir in the Oltrepò, French clone.

3 most important words in #Bordeaux :Château, Cuverie and Chai. The first refers to building attached to vineyards, with winemaking and storage facilities. The second is the building where the wine is stored and the third is the cellar where it will be stored and aged.

I find those new “Moderate wine consumption “ polices to be unjustified. Wine is not the enemy here!! Is the abuse of it the evil of the story!! Always has been!! #wine #helath #balance
