Learning a second language is NOT easy. #FSL Ss must learn TWO sets of code & TWICE the vocabulary as their L1 peers. So shouldn’t they have TWICE the support? Often #FSL Ss are lucky if they receive support in just 1 language. Preliminary look at code required to be biliterate👇🏼

A reminder that there are MANY valid ways of doing arithmetic so if we just focus on standard algorithms as the only way, it makes sense that a lot of people don't feel like they're a math person because their ways, or ways that might make more sense to them, aren't being taught.
