Not sure where to start with your development? We start with a Pitching Assessment covering Mechanics as well as Trackman Data. We then run a functional Movement Assessment and Strength Assessment. This gives us the information we need to start planning for your development.

"I used to see guys sitting at the bar by themselves eating and I used to feel so bad for them and now I realize that dude was in heaven." Not many of us can relate with being on a new team, in a new city, without our family, but many of us can relate to this.

BEWARE of coaches or trainers that tell you “Don’t worry about Velocity” A couple reasons why they are saying this: 1. They have no idea how to go about helping you gain velocity. 2. They are that out of touch with what it takes to play at a high level these days

🚨Hard Truth🚨 Does your Pitching Coach/ Throwing Trainer keep telling you how good the pitch shape on your Slider, Change-up, etc is after making a tweak, but doesn't have a way to objectively show you the pitch is improving or actually good?  Thread ⬇️

The truth is: 1.) They’re just guessing and telling you what you want to hear as a client/athlete  Or 2.) THEY HAVE TRACKMAN EYES Which one seems more likely?

If you're an “undersized” pitcher you must “earn” velocity in a different way. You need to be elite at a few drivers. MECHANICAL SEQUENCING, MOMENTUM + TEMPO, and ROTATIONAL VELOCITIES

Top Level Sports (@toplevel_sports) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The drift is the initial forward move where the athlete’s center of mass shifts towards the plate. It sets you up to move fast. Studies show that there is a positive correlation between Higher COG velocity before foot plant and throwing velocity. Move fast down the mound!

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐭 → 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭 Efficient glove side = better torso position at foot plant, faster torso rotation, cleaner sequencing, and less stress downstream.

Outcomes matter, they're the point. However, focusing on outcomes doesn’t produce outcomes. Obsessing over the process produces outcomes.

Hip-Shoulder Separation is the angular difference between your hips and your shoulders during the pitching delivery. In terms of the delivery, it is the rotational delay between the pelvis opening toward the target and the torso remaining closed. (Thread)

Cam came in averaging 83.5. He put his head down, listened, and got to work. Big progress so far. But no where near done yet!
