I know that various United Nations agencies have over the decades built up controversial legacies & made enough people cynical to them. But I have utmost respect & gratitude to the 100s of UNRWA UNIFIL UN Development staff & more who have given their lives since 2023, though in the cruelest ways.

On the other hand, post-2023 reminds me also of the everyday, steep, and fatal price that underpaid, *local* United Nations staff give; hence why I feel overall ambivalent. In the end, these genocides may leave off the liberal rules-based order & the UN itself as completely irreformable.
