this is utterly bizarre. James Daly is incapable/unwilling to state what allegations he has made about Rayner, to the police. He blusters, complains Bryant is shouting, but won't answer the most basic question - what has he alleged? Is he worried he's going to get sued for libel?

I think about this quote a lot. And then I attempt to exist in society that tries to steal more & more of the future and believes/pretends itโ€™s a good thing.

At Sunak actually says with an attempt at a triumphant flourish 'vote Conservative for a brighter future for Britain' - apparently oblivious to the implicit admission of the dire state of things after 14 years of the Tories in power

Taxes arenโ€™t there to fund public works, theyโ€™re to coerce people to work for the govt. It creates the money to settle accounts. The real tax is the labour diverted to carry out these works. But thatโ€™s not a criticism, because we all benefit from 1st class public services.

The rights of jurors is an ancient tradition, itโ€™s as British as it gets - why would any government at this stage of an election cycle contemplate this?

Clean air should be a human right for everyone - but clearly it's a right this Government doesn't think people in the UK deserve. Rather than pass urgently needed legislation to save lives and clean up our dirty, toxic air, they actively rescind funding for first time in 27 years

Dear Chris Stark. It's pretty clear that 'blue' hydrogen (made from nat gas) would be a disastrous blunder financially & environmentally. With a Gov-in-waiting looking for guidance, now would be the perfect time for a frank & unequivocal statement from Climate Change Committee.

It's not the policies designed to improve the long-term sustainability of British agriculture that are pushing up food prices, it's the global warming and associated climate change that these farmers are sticking their head in the sand about.

The scale of government spending, and what it is spent on, is always a matter of political choice. The problem is that military action is always deemed to be high priority and meeting need is not.

With a backlog of 66k+ serious criminal cases itโ€™s literally incredible that a single hour of court time is being wasted on prosecuting a 69-year old for holding a placard advising jurors of their rights prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/law/6570โ€ฆ
