History lessons are important

Last term was about finding my feet as a brand new teacher, establishing routines and relationships. This term I am focusing on good lessons and pedagogy. 1 ECT term down, let’s go term 2!! 💪🏼 (This is my attempt to convince myself I haven’t got the bank holiday Monday scaries)

I loved Waterloo Road as a teenager but watching the new series as a teacher is deeply stressful 🤣 safeguarding issues everywhere!! (Also traumatised by them killing off Chlo !!)

In our ballot, National Education Union members voted in overwhelming numbers to take historic strike action for a fully funded, above-inflation pay rise. We have to save our schools.

Across the country newspapers are landing with this advert in it as 300,000 teachers go on strike today across 24,000 schools. We don’t want to be on strike but we have no choice but to try and #SaveOurSchools
