Starting week two using new math tools. We reviewed how to roll dice and counting skills with a partner game.

Week 2 in grade 1 saw us reviewing uppercase letters, an early dot day with paint, and exploring different ways to represent numbers in math games.

A week of working on sentence writing in grade 1 today. Settings and characters, adding some labels using sounds, ONlit.org syntax project for talking about sentences, and writing our own sentences for our writing! We did it!!!

Number order practise in grade 1 -lay out all the cards -turn over the first card -put it in its spot and turn over the card you moved -put it in its place in the number path

Structured sentence writing today in grade 1. We used decodable sentences that aligned with where we are in the UF Literacy Institute scope and sequence.
