Following in Darwin's footsteps, our A-level biologists will design an investigation into the role of plant hormones in phototropism, the response of plants to light. Mrs Shah has nurtured an excellent batch of mung bean shoots ready for the study. Look out for the results!

Rocket launch at Stanborough! Our summer school visitors had a fun time making, decorating & launching rockets following the event on the successful landing on the moon’s South Pole a few days ago! Thank you to our very own lead Science Technician Mrs Shah for leading these.

Cutting Edge Biotechnology coming to Stanborough! The ABE programme commencing on 3rd November for a fortnight will enable our A -Level students to use specialised equipment to clone genes with a full sequence of laboratory-based lessons. Amgen 🧪🔬🧬
