Today’s AFSA development weekend really demonstrated its value to me. Hearing Nicola Bottomley 〓〓💜 sharing her experiences honestly and openly. Really resonated with me and is exactly what I needed to hear at a time I really needed to hear it.

Development weekend with AFSA at Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service HQ. As always, insightful, progressive and challenging but always invaluable in the development of EDI sector wide. Forever grateful for the knowledge and experiences shared by FRS colleagues from across the UK.

Well, back to work after the Christmas break and just been reminded that a few days ago (4th Jan) saw my 20th anniversary in a job I never saw coming! It’s a career that’s filled me with pride and I’m honoured that I can look back on things and feel genuinely grateful.
